Betsy
Owner, Lead Organizer + Designer
Betsy grew up in Franklin, Tennessee, and founded Type A Lifestyle Co. in August 2019. She is a former elementary teacher, behavior specialist, and administrator with three degrees, including an Ed.S. in Leadership. She is a true Enneagram 8 with a passion for helping others find and utilize their strengths.
Betsy enjoys a challenge, bringing calm to chaos, and rethinking designs for older homes. She loves kayaking, animals, and any DIY project that uses power tools. Betsy currently lives in Hendersonville, Tennessee, with her husband Dave and their four fur children. You can learn more about Betsy’s story on our “Behind the Brand“ page.
Jennifer
Lead Organizer + Handywoman
Jennifer has been a member of the Type A Lifestyle team since 2020 after a client introduced her to Betsy. As an Enneagram 1, she loves an organizational system where everything has its space, and helping people find happiness in their home. Her favorite spaces to organize are garages, sheds, and basements because the transformation is the most gratifying.
Jennifer has lived in Williamson County since 2008, when her family moved from South Dakota. She is married to her husband of 20+ years and has three adult children and two grandchildren that she loves to spoil. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband, cheering on the Titans, enjoying the sunshine by the pool, and having drinks with friends.
Alex
Organizer + Designer
Originally from Minnesota, Alex moved to Nashville in 2022 to pursue a new career. She met Betsy and the Type A team while working at The Container Store, and Alex fell in love with their process and heart for helping people. It was the easiest yes when they asked her to join the team! While she never thought she would become an Organizer, Alex has always had a knack for keeping things tidy and finding everything a home. Alex loves diving into tricky spaces and finding creative solutions that make people’s lives easier. She has also joined our marketing team, utilizing her skills in graphic design.
Outside of organizing, Alex can be found hanging out with her roommates, going to soccer games, reading or taking care of her plants!
Angie
Social Media + Marketing
Angie moved to the Nashville area with her husband, Randy, and their two daughters in 2014. Prior to working part-time for Type A Lifestyle Company, she was a stay-at-home Mom for 12 years. Organizing and home decor have been a long-time passion for her. She loves using that passion to help others create peace and joy in their homes and spaces. When she’s not working for Type A, she enjoys organizing and styling her own home, watching a good British drama, gardening, spending time at the beach or pool, and creating memories with her family.
Lynn
Organizer + Designer
Lynn and her husband moved to Nashville in 2012. In a past life, she worked for investment firms; in her current life, she works full-time raising their four children (two sets of twins!) and part-time for Type A Lifestyle Co. As an Enneagram 1, working for Type A gives her a fun outlet for creating order, logic, and beauty in clients’ spaces.
Her favorite spaces to organize are pantries and kids’ closets because she loves putting her busy mom mindset to work, thinking about how to utilize spaces for daily life. When she’s not organizing, she’s playing tennis or chauffeuring her kids.
Robyn
Organizer
Robyn is an Enneagram 1 who strives to leave the critical side out. Robyn was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but then moved to Jefferson City. She attended Carson Newman College and Tennessee Tech University, graduating with a BS in Marketing. Robyn is married to her best friend, Rob, and they have a son, Luke, and a daughter, Abigail. Robyn likes improving, and she loves variety, so she finds joy organizing any space, especially when she gets to use new, pretty products. When Robyn is not organizing, she is COO of the Ellis house and all attached to it, managing rental property, taking care of an apartment, and serving in her church.
